At Valley Baptist Church, we love families and we love children. Children are not a burden but a blessing from the Lord, and we seek to honor that blessing through everything we do at VBC.

During Sunday morning services, we worship together with our children through songs and prayer and communion. During the teaching part of the service, children can sit with their family or attend children’s Sunday School. Children that stay with their family can utilize our “Busy Boards” and submit questions to be used during our Ask the Pastor time. We also have nursery for 0-3 years old and Sunday School classes for up to age 9 years old.

During the year we offer a Vacation Bible School in the summer, a fun Fall Festival, and a Christmas play the children can be involved in.  We also have family camp in the summer, a Fourth of July celebration for the whole family, and other ministries that include children such as Father Son Ministry, Daughters of the King, and Thrive.

“6 And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.”

Our desire is to be teaching our children diligently to follow God through our classes on Sunday morning, modeling the Christian walk through our teachers, and offering fun events that encourage scripture memorization, fellowship, and faith in Jesus.
